Goooood Morning Zinemaniatics!

Last Sunday I watched Scarface which is a Brian DePalma´s movie. It´s a great film about gangs, drugs and violence. In this film Al Pacino plays the role of Tony Montana.

I have a theory: every good film has something that makes it special. Scarface has a very interesting plot and all the things that a great film should have. Obviously, there's a lot of blood and violence and that makes it better. Al Pacino acts very well and the rest of the cast too.

YEAR:1983
DIRECTOR: Brian DePalma.
ACTORS/ACTRESSES: Al Pacino ( Tony Montana), Steven Bauer (Many Rivera), Michelle Pfeiffer (Elvira Hancock) Mary Elizabeth Mastratonio (Gina Montana) Robert Logia (Frank Lopez).

SYPNOSIS: Tony Montana, a Cuban refugee, goes to the USA in the Mariel´s boatlife. In Miami he starts working with Frank Lopez, who is a gangster. During the film Brian DePalma shows us how Tony becomes a very important drug lord.

On Saturday we talked about One Flew Over The Cucoo´s Nest , wich is a very good film , then I went to the cinema and I saw Django Unchained , wich is very great film too. I liked this film a lot and it has what I call Tarantino´s Key Factors.

1-Sarcasm
2-Violence
3-More Sarcasm
4-More Violence

DIRECTOR: Quentin Tarantino
YEAR:2012
ACTORS/ACTRESSES: Jaime Foxx (Django), Leonardo DiCaprio (Calvin Candie), Christoph Waltz (Dr. King Schultz), Kerry Washington (Broomhilda), Samuel L. Jackson (Stephen).

SYPNOSIS: In this film Tarantino show us the slavery in the United States of America, especially in the south, with violence and humor. Dr. Schultz, who is a bounty hunter , and he wants Django, a black man , to kill three brothers who were slavers, because Django knows them. After killing them they make a deal which says that during the winter Django has to be a bounty hunter too. When winter passes both of the have to find Django´s wife, Broomhilda, who now is a rich man´s slave.

Gooooood Morning Zinemaniatics!
Today we are going to talk about one of the the best films that I have ever seen, One Flew Over The Cucoo´s Nest. I saw this film some years ago and I liked it a lot so this is why I´m going to talk about it.

DIRECTOR:Milos Forman
YEAR:1975
ACTORS/ACTRESSES:Jack Nicholson (Patrick McMurphy), Louise Fletcher (Mildred Ratched), Will Sampson (Chief Bromdem), Brad Dourif (Billy Bibbit), Danny De Vito (Martini) Christopher Lloyd (Taber).

SYPNOSIS:Patrick McMurphy is a veteran of the Korean War. He doesn´t want to go to prison so he decides to do something insane in order to enter in a mental hospital. In the hospital, Patrick doesn´t like the nurses and  their rules so he starts a rebellion against them.

CURIOSITIES:Jack Nicholson stayed in a hospital during two weeks studying how patients lived. In the film they use real patients and one day a cameraman opened the protector of a window and one of the patients jumped out and broke some bones.
